PHILIPS Hue wireless wall switch module

Keep your existing wall switches and enjoy all the possibilities of smart lighting. The Philips Hue wall switch module is installed behind the existing switch mechanism and allows you to use your conventional switches to control Philips Hue smart lights without changing the appearance of the installation.

Its main advantage is that it avoids one of the common drawbacks of smart bulbs: when using the module, Hue lights remain powered and always accessible, even after being switched off from the wall switch. This means they remain available for later control through the Hue app, automations or other accessories within the system.

In addition to switching the lights on and off, the module allows you to assign new functions to your existing switch. From the Philips Hue app, you can configure it to activate different scenes depending on the time of day, cycle through your favourite scenes with successive presses, or start and stop specific automations.

It operates using an included CR2450 battery and communicates wirelessly with the Hue system, so the module is not used to supply power directly to the luminaire.

• Requires a Hue Bridge: The Philips Hue Wall Switch Module requires a Hue Bridge (sold separately). The Hue Bridge also allows you to add up to 50 lights and 12 accessories throughout your home, create timers and routines, and control your lights from anywhere inside or outside your home with the Hue app.
• Create and switch light scenes: Use your switch to set up to three different lighting scenes; simply turn the switch on and off to cycle through the scenes of your choice.
• Ensure your smart lights are always connected: With the wall switch module, your lights are always connected to power.
