- Appropriate height: For standard ceilings (about 2,4 to 2,7 centimeters), make sure the chandelier hangs about 30cm below the ceiling. If the chandelier is over a table or dining room, it should ideally hang 70 to 90 centimeters above the table.
- Diameter: Add up the dimensions of your room or space in meters (width + length) and convert the result to centimeters. For example, if your room is 4 meters wide and 3 meters long, add 3 + 4 = 700 cm. Converted to centimeters, it would be a lamp with a diameter of approximately 70 centimeters.
- Space size: In larger rooms, such as large living rooms or dining rooms, opt for larger chandeliers or chandeliers with more arms. For smaller spaces, choose more compact designs or ones with fewer arms that won't overwhelm the room.
