Track lights

Track lights are a highly versatile lighting system that offers numerous advantages in terms of flexibility and design. It allows to direct the light in a flexible and adjustable way.

It also offers the ability to highlight specific elements and adapt to changing lighting needs.

It mainly consists of several components.

• Rail or rail: They are like a kind of bar or "track" in which we can install the individual spotlights. They are available in sections of 1 or 2 meters and in 2 types: single-phase or three-phase. Together with other accessories, they allow the creation of structures adaptable to any space.
• Track lights: These lights are connected to the rail through a very practical and simple installation system. They can be easily positioned at any point along the rail.

The rail on which the track lights are installed is available in 2 types:

• Single-phase: It is a simpler type of rail than the three-phase. It is mainly intended for installations with more basic needs in terms of power and versatility. This type of lane uses only one ignition phase, which means that all the spotlights in the lane are turned on at the same time.
• Three-phase: This type of rail offers greater flexibility and options compared to single-phase rails. This type of rails allows up to 3 different ignition phases, so we can choose which lights to turn on at each ignition and combine them with each other.
• Magnetic: This is the most innovative solution in track lighting systems. It stands out for its stylish and elegant design, offering greater installation possibilities, even on surfaces such as walls. In addition, it has a wider and more original catalogue of spotlights, adapted to different needs and styles.

When buying rail track lights for our house, it is very important to make sure you do it correctly.

• Compatibility with the rail system: This is the most important of all. Verify that the spotlights or track rail are compatible with each other. That is, if we choose a single-phase spotlight, it must be installed on a single-phase rail. If we choose a three-phase rail spotlight, it must be installed on a three-phase rail.

• Lighting Type: Determine what type of lighting you want to create. Do you want the spotlights to illuminate the entire room in general or are you looking for more specific lighting in specific objects or areas? Depending on the power, angle and number of spotlights you will have one type of lighting or another.

• Design of the structure: The installation of track lights does not have to be exclusively linear. With the right accessories you can make original shapes that adapt to the space and even suspend them from the ceiling.
